The Worst Time to Have a Leak

There is never a good time to have leaking water in your home.  But, if there was a worst time it would (arguably) be as soon as you’d finished renovating and decorating your home. Everything would be perfect; beautiful floorings and sumptuous furnishings throughout, every tiny detail exactly as you dreamed it would be.

The last thing you would want to happen would be to have a water leak.

But, this is exactly what happened to Mr & Mrs King.

They spent a significant amount of time and money renovating, improving and updating their house. Their existing gas central heating system was fully functioning and working fine, so this was left alone. Everything seemed to be going perfectly and their dream seemed to be becoming a reality.

Or, it did for a few weeks.

Then the dream turned into a nightmare.

They realised not long after the work had been completed that there was a leak in the central heating system, but with most of the pipework hidden behind newly decorated walls and beautiful new ceramic floors – and an additional complication of the base foundation of the house being concrete – this leak was not one that was going to be simple to find, or to fix.

With one option being to rip up the flooring and spend a significant amount of time, expense and upheaval replacing the old pipework, they decided to consider alternative solutions and came to us at North East Heating Solutions to ask for advice.
