Cheap energy – Do Compare but Go Direct

Do use energy comparison websites but don’t click on the link if you want the really cheap tariff. Go direct to the supplier instead.

That’s the advice of North East Heating Solutions MD, Howard Klineberg

“The comparison websites are great as a guide to the cheapest energy suppliers,” says Howard, “but don’t sign up through them. It’s usually cheaper to go direct to the energy provider and sign up through their website or over the ‘phone. That way you escape any commission payments the comparison website may have built into the price.”

Howard estimates that his company has saved its customers thousands of pounds with advice like this and its free service to people who install an energy efficient electrical heating system.
